5. Behaviours: Leading with authenticity.
Behaviours are the tangible expression of our values. They shape how others perceive us and reflect what we truly care about. Authenticity emerges when our values and behaviours align – when we act in a way that reflects who we truly are. In a world striving for a more transparent and ethical future, our behaviours become the foundation for trust and meaningful change.
Awareness:
- What patterns of behaviour do you notice in yourself? Are they consistent or triggered by specific situations such as being challenged in a meeting, or facing a setback?
- How would a close friend or colleague describe your personality? How do they perceive your strengths and areas for growth?
- What is your persona – the outward face you present to the world – and how does it align with your inner values?
- When do you notice that your intentions and actions are at odds? What is happening?
Agency:
- What proactive steps can you take to manage your triggers and ensure that your actions align with your core values?
- Consider one way that you can lead more authentically in your daily interactions, fostering trust and connection with those around you.
